Travel Fellowship

Rev understands that participating in the national and international film festival and conference circuit can be costly. We're also aware that a number of conference and similar type activities keep registration and other fees deliberately high so as to keep access oriented toward the landed gentry.  However, at Rev, we're keen to assist in any way we can those who want to attend the event and in so doing provide an event that's accessible, relevant, vibrant and made up of all sectors of the community - film or otherwise.  

In an Australian first, Revelation is looking to provide one filmmaker, academic, craftsperson or film-lover from each state and the Northern Territory (not including WA) up to a $500 contribution toward travel and accommodation in order to attend the festival in Perth.  The package also includes a range of other "access" benefits that extend to parties and VIP functions, masterclasses, special events and other event components.

To be eligible for the Revelation Travel Fellowship, applicants have to tell us in 500 words or less why attending the 8-18 July event will benefit their craft, skill, network, knowledge or personal gratification. 

This initiative is competitive, receiving a high level of interest nationally. Combined with Rev's orientation toward signature driven and independent styled works, we're looking forward to hearing from our national family and being able to provide the opportunity for on-going professional development of the successful applicants.
