Presenting two bona-fide classics from the King of Sexploitation on the big screen. Russ Meyer's Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill! has been reinterpreted as a feminist revenge movie with its images of grown men grovelling and tough women making them suffer like the ants they are. Pussycat stars Tura Satana in her greatest ass-kickin' role, alongside Lori Williams and Haji as a trio of burlesque dancers out for rough thrills. Vixen! is a softcore satire which tells the story of a sex-mad wild woman and her conquests. A classic performance by Erica Gavin as the ever horny mountain girl Vixen.
John Waters (Hairspray, Polyester and Pink Flamingos) calls Meyer one of the two "greatest masters in film history". A true auteur, Meyer wrote, directed, shot and edited his vastly influential films which exist in their own subgenre populated by large-breasted tough women who dominate weaker men and drive plots that come straight from the analysts couch. A rare chance to see these wild 'n sexy comic book style grindhouse movies on the big screen where they belong.
