This lovingly animated stop-motion follows the adventures of a trio of frenetic toy figures; Cowboy, Indian, and Horse. Based on the cult Belgium TV series, this film follows the trio of friends as their rural idyll is shattered with the delivery of fifty million bricks. The following tale of wall theft, journeys beyond the centre of the earth and massive snowball machines mixes the dream logic of surrealism and the literalism of animation into a frenzied and unique animated tale.
Fan's of the original TV series, which was distributed by Aardman Animations (creators of Wallace And Gromit), will not be disappointed by this feature, while those who've never experienced the gloriously fast paced mayhem of A Town Called Panic will become evangelical fans of this hyperactive anarchic movie.
Stiges - Catalonian International Film Festival Best Animated Feature Film 2009, Audience Award Austin Fantastic Fest 2009, Cinanima Festival Award 2009.
