Directed and written by The Mighty Boosh director Paul King, Bunny and the Bull luxuriates in the same kind of dislocated surrealism as the cult television series. Agoraphobic shut-in Stephen recalls his memories of a European holiday with best friend Bunny - their travels across a dreamlike Europe brought to life through vividly realised design and animation. Director King's skill for bizarre aesthetics - already familiar from The Boosh - are able to truly flourish on the cinema screen, and they serve as the perfect backdrop for this journey into the Europe of the mind.
With outstanding appearances from various members of the Boosh cast, the film already has a strong cult following.
